Almelo councilor Marcel Middelkamp has immediately been removed from the council faction of Party Vrij Almelo (PVA). The party has terminated its confidence in him and informed him through a bailiff that the collaboration will be terminated. Middelkamp would follow his own course within the PVA council faction and would not participate in faction consultations. Middelkamp will not give up his seat, he wants to continue to do his work as a one-man faction in the Almelo municipal council.
