We currently have two medical clinics in Montreal, which both have great success! Our pediatric clinic, Bloom, is the highest rated pediatric clinic in Montreal by parents and we have just opened our first family medicine clinic, which is already getting a great response from health care professionals and patients.

We are now looking for highly qualified nurse practitioners to complete our team. Our NPs will have their own practice, caring for their own patients, with a high level of autonomy. We firmly believe that NPs will be the backbone of a new health care system across Canada, where patients will be able to see the right professional for their needs, in a timely manner.

The role:

As a primary care nurse practitioner at our family medicine clinic, you will have the opportunity to build your own practice in minor emergency as well as patient intake and follow up. You will have full autonomy over your practice and while collaborating with other specialists and super-specialists. We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent clinical judgment who is enthusiastic about working in a new type of health care facility that promotes a culture of learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct minor emergency appointments and follow up visits
• Address and assess patient health needs and provide follow-up
• Identify patients' health problems and prioritize medical care and treatment.
• Prescribe diagnostic tests, medications, and medical treatments
• Make specialty referrals as needed
• Respond to questions from clinicians, if needed

Qualifications:

• Member of the l’Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières du Québec (OIIQ);
• Hold a graduate degree giving the diploma of Primary care nurse practitioner according to the university requirements agreed upon in Quebec;
• Holds the training attestations prescribed by the OIIQ regulations
• Excellent clinical judgment
• Good communication, organizational and prioritization skills
• Empathy and ability to relate to patients and help alleviate their anxiety
